First 4 Places You Need To Invest For Your Business To Succeed
Written by Ron Manchester February 15, 2020
The first four places that you need to invest in is yourself, marketing, outsourcing tasks, and eliminating waste. I want to bring to your minds that you can invest in your business with money of course but you can also invest your time and your resources, so don't just think of investing as spending money.  The more you invest in your business, the more it will triumph.

You are in charge!  Every single person in the world is capable of learning new skills and improving themselves.  You need to invest in yourself so that you can make iterations and grow into the person you want to become.  Some ways to invest in yourself include hobbies, books, taking a class, and hiring a coach.  In return your business will prosper from all the new knowledge and things you have learned.  You are one of the main factors in determining the success of your business so take care of yourself first.

It is important for businesses to get their name, product, and/or brand into the market.  One reason why this is important is for your business to get feedback from the market so that you can make improvements.  Another reason is to make money and increase your sales.  Marketing can be done in two different ways.  The paid approach is what most people think about.  These are billboards, TV ads, newspaper ads, internet ads, etc.  The other way to market is through the organic approach.  This style of marketing includes free methods of marketing like personal Facebook posts, handing out fliers, personal emails, shaking hands, etc.  Marketing is a critical place where you need to invest in order for your business to have success.

As a business owner you want to focus your energy on the tasks that you enjoy and that you do best.  Outsourcing those tasks that need to be done but you hate to do will give yourself some of the freedom that is wanted when owning a business.  The question is where do I find people to outsource my work to?  Virtual assistants, contractors, employees, interns, and volunteers are all good options for outsourcing some of your tasks. Take care of the most important tasks and leave the rest for someone else.

The fourth location that you need to invest in is eliminating waste.  You can clean your space. Get rid of any garbage in your workspace and on your computer.  Can you simplify some of your business processes?  Are there any products that can be cut out of production?  There are an infinite amount of ways to eliminate waste in your business.  This will make your company lean and efficient leading to your business being the best in the world at what it does.

If you look at some of the great businessmen Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates all them know how key it is to invest back into your business.  Invest in yourself, marketing, outsourcing tasks, and the elimination of waste.
